Hi Becky! These mini-challenges are such a wonderful ideia. May I join this one, please?:)
Welcome to the challenge!
I'm in for a little Gaskell. As of now, I think I'll read Cranford and watch the recent version shown on PBS. I hope to also read a short story or two and a novella.
Thanks for hosting!

I'm in! My post is here :-)
Cranford is in my plans for this year, so I'll gladly sign up for this one. North and South is my favorite all-time Brit Lit Chick Flick, and I would love to read the book. If I don't end up having time, I'll watch the movie for Cranford.
I have North and South and Mary Barton on my TBR list from different reading groups so those are the ones that I will pick for this challenge.
I'm in - Ilove Gaskell ;0)

The BBC Cranford miniseries is amazing. Is it true that it's based short stories rather than the Cranford novel?
Hi Becky-
Sign me up for this one, too.

I have long been a fan of Elizabeth Gaskell, and few I know are.
Count me in, esp. since the challenge goes on into 2010.
Thank you.
Annette
Please count me in for the Elizabeth Gaskell Challenge. I will read "Slvia's Lovers" and "North and South"-thanks for hosting this
If we read a book before joining into the challenge thats in the time span of it, can we count it??
Yes, Jules, you can count it :)
I don't know how I missed this one...I read North and South and just finished a short story by her. I have Wives and Daughters and Cranford on my tbr list for 2010 but not sure I will finish by June. I will stop by to see what others have reviewed.
I haven't read anything by Elizabeth Gaskell. I know, shame on me. LOL.
But I'm hoping to change that and so I'm joining the Elizabeth Gaskell Mini-Challenge. ♥
